This is one of the best 12" EPs ever; a classic mini-album.
Every Day Is Like Sunday is one of the key Eighties songs. Of course, I've always liked Morrissey's desperate cry of boredom regarding the drudgery of a dull seaside town. Covered by Chrisie with the Pretenders and inspiring a Canadian cult film . . .
But wait, more to come: the B side is phenomenal. -
