I just picked up my copy used and wet cleaned twice and listed a couple of times. Firstly I would describe my copy as a VG++ or NM-, excellent to the eye but some light scuffing from the paper sleeve. However I've found the vinyl to be rather noisy. Most of the noise becomes almost completely unnoticeable once the tracks start. Some of the noise seems to be from the pressing rather than the condition but doesn't detract too much from my enjoyment.
Now for the actual vinyl/music and mastering. From the moment Walk on the Ocean started I was drawn in and loved it. The vocals are in the forefront and the mastering IMO brings out the highlights of what makes this band great. Highlighting the purity of their music and some of the finer details. Soundscape I found to be slightly narrow but overall the music sounds natural and not overly mastered or tampered with. Definitely going to listen to this many times.
As for the packaging, the inner sleeve being paper is silly and damaging to the vinyl so not great there. The outer is thin paper and my copy got a couple of dents and dings but no surprise there. Artwork is clean and images look good.
Pressing is also heavyweight (for what that's worth) and the vinyl is flat and pretty centered.
Overall I'm thrilled to own this and while there are some negatives to my pressing it isn't enough to detract from the experience of me declaring this a 4.5 star. The mastering and music trump it all and my copy isn't mint so not always fair to critic pressing quality unless sealed. Grab a copy if the price is right and you're a fan without hesitation! -
My copy is great. The only album I've ever paid $50 . I still think that's a bit high but it came directly from their website which is always the case.

Surprised at the amount of surface noise and pops on this pressing, especially noticeable on side 2 where the tracks tend to be more mellow. The mix is great and if you're a fan this is a must own copy.
