    B2) Genesis: The Peace

    Probably my favourite Lamont Booker track.

    It's deep but I certainly wouldn't call it deep house as listed on discogs. Although the other tracks are more typical of that style. It's a unique blend of NYC house but with that electro / techno / freestyle tradition of rhythm and groove. Many layers of twists and turns.

    Bittersweet, melancholic, slightly sinister, deep, energizing, uplifting, uptempo, melodic, invloved, emotive... I think I've listed enough superlatives already, I'd better stop. And it builds and builds and builds. It has it all in my opinion. Proper, precise, excellently detailed musicianship.
