Surprising that there's been no reviews of this after 16 years.

The Rave mix is, as the title suggests, an aggressive onslaught (but not to the point of overload).

Some very unique percussive elements bring the track into an evil rasper of a bassline. Next you get a quirky "falling" sound, a bit like the Clangers (ok, that's something only UK people over the age of 40 will know about).

Then BANG! A tasty riff to equal the evilness of the bassline!

    Then...

    . . .. . .. . . .. . . . .. . . . . ...........................

    :o

Just listen to it, you'll know what I mean.

On the b-side there are two other mixes.

The Progressive mix is clearly overseen by M.I.K.E., it has his trademark sound from the start.

Don't let the "Progressive" tag fool you, this is a pure Trance remix. Could be a Push track, or Plastic Boy. Mike keeps the little Clangers sound buried in the mix but that's about all that's kept from the A-side.

A solid M.I.K.E. production, but then again he churned out tracks like this on an almost monthly basis around this time.

B2 (the Original mix) is clearly still produced mainly by M.I.K.E. but has a more rough edge. That Clangers sound takes center stage, alongside some Techno stabs. It's alright, but nothing special.

    Fuck it!

    Stick with the Rave mix.
