This is one of those recordings that I never get really tired of...
- here, Prince's musical genius flows free, and he does stuff that most (normal) people don't really want to hear...
(Many musicians got hooked on Prince, because of this album).
He clearly stated that his world is something special on this record.
- funny enough:
The black-album (that was withdrawn one week before release!!) was the original thought of this record.
Even one song is included from it. (When 2 R In Love).
This "double-sided" idea remains from the Sign 'O' The times record, where he used Camille as his alter ego.
Black and white... but both ingenious funky!
