Beautiful translucent purple vinyl, the sound is nice but with little clics and pops on my copy, I guess I need to clean it! But very happy to have that beautiful reissue of that first solo album of Juliana Hatfield.

I had this sitting at home in the states for the past 5 years waiting for me to pick it up. Well worth the wait. <333

Edited 2 years agoIt's 2023 and I still hear that 2018 LP and I'm still not sure if what happened on this LP was the mastering or the pressing.... First I got my first copy that was in the sale pile because it had a crack on the end of the LP but it didn't effect play. But when I did play it and I already had the 1992 UK LP and US CD and on those presses it didn't sound like Juliana had a lisp through out the entire album except the song Nirvana . Then I got 2 more purple at regular cost ( I got a copy of Pussycat for these issues ) same thing.... Then finally I said ok a black copy... Did the same thing... No one noticed this but me.... I came in late for this reissue so I'm not sure if this was a second pressing or the same. It's a mystery... The new 2023 of the album that introduced me to Juli in 1993 when I was a YOUNG SIGHHHHHHHHHH 24 year old .... Wait I'm 54 now Jesus I My Sister was yesterday... Even found a real copy of God's Foot on the net like a copy from the master. ( or the master ) That needs to be really released ... Atlantic wants 200 grand to release the tape or something like that ... From what I ... I'm thinking Juli went up to 200 grand for a alt LP ... Meanwhile it sits in a vault and Iggy Pop gets signed to that label ... But Become What You Are the yellow LP is stunning .... More care was def put into this then Hey Babe ... Less vinyl colors ? Oh to solve God's Foot .... 2,000 copies God's Foot box set 100.00 a piece... There's Atlantic's money ... But that's breaking even ..

Some sibilance issues on my system, but the instruments overall sound so much better than I could have hoped for, so this is a great pressing for me.

The sound is so great! Juliana's voice is crystal clear and the sound stage is now wide open. Another example of a muddy sounding early 90's CD that has now been transformed into an amazing sounding album on Vinyl. I would highly recommend this!

Edited 7 years agoBeautiful pressing of this reissue. Remastered from the original 1/4” analog tapes apparently, and sound quality is really impressive! Thanks American Laundromat Records!
