Track B1 was not included on the original version of this album. It was added to the European reissue and its presence is d by a round blue sticker on the front cover.

In addition, some copies included a promotional one-sided color A4 insert for the "Madonna Live - The Virgin Tour" that had just been released on VHS and Beta.

Another feature that distinguishes this reissue from the original version is that the generic Sire typeface is used on the label, whereas the previous versions used the custom "madonna" typeface used.

Issued with back cover printed upside down and custom inner sleeve with lyrics and credits.

Some copies came with a sticker on back cover: Club Sonderauflage which featured an additional Cat# 32325 3, check detailed photos.

Almost identical to Like A Virgin except for the barcode texts format.

Got the 1985 re-release because it featured my favorite song, Into the Groove, and was kind of disappointed, when the B side crackled "to the beat". Maybe it's a factory defect or the vinyl is just worn out... I shall never know.

Aside from that, it's a great album.

I had wanted to buy the 1984 original but mistakenly bought the 1985 reissue with 'Into The Groove' opening Side 2.

The first thing that I had noticed was that Side 2 was a fair bit lower in volume and less dynamic than Side 1 due to an extra track being squeezed into it. Side 1 sounds fantastic, especially 'Like A Virgin'.

This is without any doubt one of the best-sounding pressings I have heard in my entire life. Despite this being a digital recording this vinyl simply sounds fantastic. Like A Virgin is unbelievably detailed and dynamic. Wow. [ Playing this using an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge ]

Well mastered pressing with good soundstage, stereo and detail, but I have series of pops on B side (at the end of "Into the Groove") but there's no scatch. Inner tracks has lack of treble.

Question concerning the cover of the German pressing: Is it normal that the cover-backside is printed in opposite direction (to read the backside you have to turn the cover 180 degrees)?
