Overall, the sound of the record is great. Powerful bass, a fine, detailed resolution and a very dynamic sound characterize this release. Nevertheless, a fine cracking noise can be heard at times on my copy, which runs to mostly through all tracks. -
This album came to chew gum and kick ass, and it's all out of gum. Christ, this sounds great. Excellent soundstage/imaging, which means it sounds like John Carpenter is in your living room, playing his keyboards. If you love Carpenter's films and his very 80s scores and DIY aesthetic, you won't regret buying this record. And hey, it's a pretty nifty Halloween-time record too.
