A highly insightful EP, bringing different scales and nuances of melodic, deep break electro. The vocals in the B side are sober and complementary to the strong beat that will guide you through an unknown pathway.

An absolute trip of an EP, covering four diverse moods succinctly in four wicked tracks. "Null 212" is such a fun propulsive track with a break in the middle to die for. Pressed at 45, so suitable for wrong-speed playback trickery too. Electro is only a tiny part of what's on my shelf but I consider this a real must-have.

Yet another artist emerges with an essential electro-techno sound. Catch The Train sounds like it came straight out of the early electro scene with those classic synth licks and electronic vocal. Null 212 brings in a classic breakbeat rhythm and a brain-wibbling bassline. And both Electronic Setups + Bug In The System are an absolutely lush space-pad escapades, the latter with a rare shuffled electro rhythm. Kosh has gone on to produce another few EPs since this, they are all GREAT and highly highly recommended. Top notch.

Edited 5 years agoThe track labelled "A1" and entitled "Catch the Train" is ideal to listen to if you ever find yourself sprinting through a busy mainline railway station, with only a few minutes to spare before your train is scheduled to depart. The fast-paced techno rhythm will lend a sense of urgency to your endeavor and make you feel a bit like you are starring in a very exciting thriller movie!!

Edited 6 years ago'Catch The Train' gives me an 'Aux-88/Cybotron' feeling all over... absolutely sterling cut; and like nobody seems able to achieve these days, sounds 100% the real deal (proper late 80's/early 90's electro-tech that is). I'll bet that trains an NY Subway... 'Null 212' seems to have slipped past reviewers here, just check that bleepy breakdown & breakbeat finale, f&*ing superb! Goose-bumps... There's a track for all on this slab of Moroccan hot wax, a true 2018 highlight & IMHO still the best release on Casa Voyager so far...
