There is another pressing of this clear vinyl that I can not seem to find in the database. Seems to be a different barcode as the one listed. Does anyone have any information on this pressing which barcode reads 1 90296960017 ?

"Spent the Day in Bed" continues along an annoying trajectory against subtlety, as instigated by 2013's on-the-nose "World Peace Is None of Your Business," made doubly annoying by its repeat advocacy of abstinence as protest. None-too-delicately ing sweeping judgment on the news (which 'contrives to frighten you' and 'make you feel sad and alone'), Morrissey suggests 'you can please yourself' by avoiding the '[slavery]' of a job, and remaining in a pillow-fort - you may as well, he adds, as 'life ends in death' anyway. This mixture of stilted logic and bad rhymes is balanced precariously on limp, flouncy keys that - whilst perhaps buoyantly evocative of a soft, well-sprung mattress - don't really reflect the proposition that to avoid anxiety, one should simply do bugger-all. I will give it this: the middle-eight is nice. It's a lush little interlude characterised by breathy, eye-rolling exclamations of 'time, do as I wish', that seem gestural toward the Oscar Wilde-quoting Morrissey of yore... but that's all for compliments.
As with all the singles from "Low in High School", the B-side here is a live cover. This one's a rendition of The Ramones' "Judy Is a Punk" and again, like the others, it suffers from a poor mix and a sense that you'd have minded some of its less flattering atonalities and imbalances had you been at the gig in person.

1. "Spent the Day in Bed" - ★★☆☆☆

This is a great sleeve fitting in well with the other Morrissey portrait sleeves. Rocky Graziano in bed for one of Morrissey's better light humour songs.
However, on this strong sleeve is the most F***=KING AWFUL sticker ever. Wow - clear vinyl that's great! (Sarcasm). Why is that message deemed so important the sticker is allowed to ruin the cover?
It is very difficult to get this sticker off the sleeve. I did it, slowly, bit by tedious bit. It took half an hour - I hated the F**KING sticker that much. Why do manufacturers continue to ruin perfectly good cover art with their cheap and brash stickers?
