This album is progressive beat-wise and for it's glitch contributions. Born at the time of the glitch movement, +/- offers an industrial sound with a more defined beats. While nicely layered, the sharpness of the samples make the album feel minimal. The orchestra-esque feel of the "Headphonics" songs layers interweave loosely only to re as soon as the time is right. The melodies are simple yet unique and heavily manipulated with all the fx appropriate from those who pride themselves on the samples they create. The + - tracks are much more heavily concentrated on study and experiment and are very hypnotic.
