Incredible good sound and quality overall. Even the inner sleeves have a protective layer in with the discs to avoid scratching before unsealing. Congrats for this one! -
This really is the best sounding version of the album (hopefully just thus far).
It's geat quality record certainly. No issues there. No surface noise or any other issues whatsoever.
In general the mastering has same lo-fi gritty sound as Book of Souls and Senjutsu. It's much better than original CD or Picture disc, but still leaves lot of room to improve. It's the way I think they've decided this album is meant to be experienced. -
This pressing adds a lot of life to a pretty colorless album (see the album cover for evidence) -
Edited 2 years agoi've got a sealed copy, the cover has signs of a removed circle sticker like the unoficcial vesion but the barcode and everyhing on the back sleeve are like this version. Which version did i bought? the unofficial
or the legitmate?

I am pleasantly surprised by the sound of this reissue - very fresh and dynamic. Highly recommended.

Edited 2 years agoVinyl is flat, heavy (LP1=182 g; LP2=191 g), the mass is quiet. The recording is high-quality, with excellent sound, smooth stereo balance and a wide stage. I liked it very much. -
Edited 3 years agoSo it is true, i just bought this one and am very keen/happy with it. This beats the picture disc 1st press. This one is indeed a improvement.

A couple of clicks and pops, disappeared after two wet cleanings though. Flat and quiet vinyl, nice packaging. -
My first tour to see maiden live, loved this album when it came out and still do, great sounding record, recommend this one too because it's not that expensive! -
Outstanding reissue. great sound and extremely high presentation (gatefold ilustration is high resolution and glossy). no surface noise whatsoever.
