Reviews
-
Surprisingly excellent pressing. Not mastered very hot, but it's crisp, clear and vibrant when played at volume with little to no white noise.
-
This album has two of Elvis Costello's finest songs in "Everyday I write the Book" and "Shipbuilding," but musically the rest of the album is unspectacular. The same goes for this particular pressing; the mix is flat and lacks punch. The drums and horn section sound lifeless. Bass is clear but without much heft to its sound.
