Leaves much to be desired, I’ll stick with my OG UK import

my copy is the same as everyone else's. it is lifeless and flat. I have to TURN THE VOLUME UP so high to get any punch from this album. And for anyone who cares, I'm spinning high-end Denon with AT-540 on great receiver and 4 speakers. I would really love to know what y'all are hearing!

Edited 9 months agoIt seems like I'm never gonna be able to enjoy this album because every single one I have received has been warped. The first one was warped, the replacement was warped and the second replacement was warped, so all three times I had no success with getting at least a good one. Terrible quality control for this particular pressing, hands down. -
Edited 8 months agogot one within the first 375. fantastic sound. Definitely one of the better sounding albums in my collection. super high fidelity and great mastering overall. I'd compare it to the in utero 45rpm for quality. easily the best sounding version of this album. 45rpm does not make this album inconvenient either, all sides last a decent amount of time and there isnt any inner groove distortion from what I could hear. -
#253 and both disks came severely warped to the point where it affected playback. Hopefully Interscope has some extra copies laying around for an exchange. -
The fidelity on this pressing is next level - get it for an affordable price while you can! -
The sound quality is absolutely stunning. This album has never sounded so good; the instruments really shine and Gwen's voice is clear and even more detailed than previously. The 45rpm really lends itself to this album. A very dynamic and wonderfully produced and now remastered album. The packaging is high quality, especially the included bonus print of the original artwork. So pleased with this release. -
Exceptional quality all the way around! The foil jacket is stunning and this being pressed at 45RPM is the icing on the cake! Fantastic sound quality! Very happy with this release! -
If anyone has runout groove information with who did the lacquer cutting that would be awesome. Would also love to know how the sound quality is, especially if you already had an older pressing + have a discerning setup. -
