The album rocks. The pressing sounds incredible. Punchy and powerful record that kills when up loud and quite enough to be excellent on headphones even after all these years -

Undoubtedly this is an audiophile record, really interesting and deep sound engineering and maximum frequencies on the vinyl.
Musicwise I love it, for the simple reason that depending on mood I consider it real crap and on another day find it ingenious.
Truly great stuff and definitely worth having in an early vinyl-version if your stereo is more than a sound-bar. -

Mojo (362-Jan 2024) featured Sparks as that months "How to Buy" top ten as voted by Mojo readers, including this album. I love all of Sparks albums (some more than others of course) but was surprised at some of those that made the top ten.
1 - Gratuitous Sax & Senseless Violins
2 - Kimono My House
3 - Music That You Can Dance To
4 - Lil' Beethoven
5 - Propaganda
6 - Hello Young Lovers
7 - Introducing Sparks
8 - The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte
9 - No. 1 In Heaven
10 - Big Beat -
What can you say ? The legendary Sparks and the legendary Propaganda. This CD sounds great. Nice dynamics. Haven’t compared it to the original vinyl but I dont think there’s much difference. An easy 5 stars.

Can someone please confirm that both cover and inner sleeve for this version mention "Printed in the USA"? I can't see it on the pictures. -

These pink-rim Island UK pressings are fantastic. Great sound, and quiet surface. -

This is an odd record which came to my by chance.
I can't say I like it, but it is definitely complex music that attracts my attention and does not bore me.
In some parts it sound like early Queen (minus the amazing studio.work) others like pop ... I never knew there was a category "art rock" so I guess that is about right.
I am happy to have this, it is as odd as the cover suggests. -
If you married progressive rock to glam - you'd get this album. Don't let the clothing they are wearing fool you. This album is pretty glam. It's mostly because of how Russel sings that gives it this effect. Musically, this feels very much like mid 70s progressive experimental rock.
It's a great album. -

Dear colleagues, does anyone know what this Italian press sounds like?
I have never listened to Italian editions.
Thanks. -

Many people are aware of Kimono my house but a lot less are familiar with Propaganda . In many ways it’s equally as good if not better . Never turn your back on Mother Earth is probably more appropriate now than ever . An album full of pace , wit and wisdom that rocks out .
