Epitome of early 90s House right here. A classic in my opinion. -

Bassline on the Extended Version seems to be based around the bassline from DJ's Rule "Get Into the Music" -

The original remix by Steve Hurley was wonderful but this release takes it into territory that I specificly love and collect. This release has 4 UK 'Ardkore inspired rave remixes and they're all really fabulous! The star attraction is Charly Cassanova's Limelight NYC mix. This version uses the breakbeat most famous from Tronik House's Up Tempo and the saw tooth synth tone famous from Bizarre Inc's Such A Feeling. It was so good that even Raymond Grooverider Bingham used it in his Dreamscape 3 set which surprised me when I discovered this. That's nice but my favorite remix on this EP is Got A Love For You (The K.O. Rave Mix). This one has the breakbeat from React 2 Rhythm Intoxication and the most beautiful house keys in the intro. I bought two copies of this record just so I can keep extending that intro which was the best part of the track. The rest of the track has very nice saw tooth bass riffs which are typical. I love this EP! -
Got A Love For You (Hurley's House Mix) is one of the biggest commercial house hits of the early 90s. That sexy synthetic horn riff is so infectious that it belted it's way into my subconscious. Over 15 years later I would be humming that riff in my head, completely unaware of where it originated from. I only recently discovered and purchased this record. This is a real heavy tune that I'm unashamed to love even though its a pop tune. Actually back then, pop radio house music was slammin'. I would spend hours listening to said pop radio on Friday and Saturday nights in bed listening to this stuff and using my Sam Goody purchased Maxell blank tapes to record these radio shows. There wasn't any rave or Uk 'Ardkore on NYC radio back then but there was a remix EP of this record with UK 'Ardkore inspired remixes by Limelight NYC's Charly Casanova. This is great because one can enjoy playing and listening to Jomanda's Got A Love For You in a variety of sets.

After I bought this I realized I like the original version better than these remixes :/ -
