So what is everyone's opinion on the best version/mix of Comanchero? -
Edited 2 years agoNow I understand why I was disappointed as a 12-year-old... this was too much of a "special remix" and not enough of a pop song for my young ears :-)) I like it a little better now. -
They did really good work at the vocal and the instrumental version, but unfortunately they cutted the 7" very wrong at 2:24 and at 3:25.

Discollectors and Lastafroz are doing god's work.
So far they are bringing the best sounding versions of everything.
if they drop Clio - Faces and Bagarre - Circus I'll be happy for ages. -
If two remixes included on this single, maybe more collectable edition...!

2. 7" Instrumental Version -
Edited 6 years agoHere you get the common 12" version, the rare-on-CD 12" instrumental, and a proper stereo mastering of the radio version (many previous reissues on CD were mono). All three tracks are well mastered with good EQ and full dynamic range, not brickwall limited, and are not vinyl rips. What more can you ask for?
(Well, OK, you could ask for the 7" instrumental...) -
Yes and imo this remix is the best version.
This Flarenasch release offers a fantastic intro.

Edited 7 years agoWarning : if you are seeking the original radio or video version of the song, you won't find it on this disc. Side A is not your usual 12" extension of the song with additional parts, it is a completely different mix.
