Yello – Stella

For what it's worth, on the obi it reads Yello/Angel No ... Angel No as the album title; not Stella.

I only bought this because my daughter really likes 'Oh Yeah, but it happens to be a great album from start to finish! Plus the pressing is excellent.

My copy of the two reel master edition arrived yesterday. Very excited to hear them next week! Most of the finished products however are without printing on the slipcase and the inner map (wich contain all the information). So my copy has a plain black slipcase and inner map. Horchhouse will keep costumers informed about this as soon as soon as this problem is solved. They were willing to take the tapes back en return payment but I keep mine because there will be a limited number of copies and there will no more made as I understand it.

Essential! Very likely the best sounding version of this album.

At least one batch had grey text printed on clear shells and a ｜|||｜|||｜ spool marking.

Should of included the Dance Mix (6:25min) of "Oh Yeah".... hmmmmmm

Superb pressing and mastering. A bit pricey for what the extras you get but still you won't find a better sounding perssing than this. Highly recommended if you can afford to take the bite.

And what does the release look like in general? Gatefold or 2 separate albums?

This is a great version. But.... I have the MOVLP and this one: https://discogs.sitiosdesbloqueados.info/release/39945-Yello-Stella and what can I say? The old version has much more punch, bass, it sounds much more direct and catchy.

Fantastic pressing. Fantastic album. Do not believe the 180g hype. This record is as thin as a flatfish but sounds excellent. You can however if you wish also spend 20 € on the Music on Vinyl rerelease or buy this release for a fraction of it. [ Playing this using an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge ]
