Wow this sounds unreal. Huge soundstage, stellar pressing. Much better than reissues -

This version is also notable for being one of the few releases (maybe the only release?) to give the closing hidden track, "Interlude," a name, and list it visually on the back cover tracklisting.

Unexpectedly nice press! Bass dynamics very powerful! I am really surprised! It's absolutely worthy the purchase!
-
Just received and I have no complains about package or pressing quality. No pops, clicks or other probs! I don't have other release to compare, but I think that this is a value for money good solution.

Edited one year agoBought a copy new today at a local store, but it matches this release. Maybe they’re still pressing this 2013 release. Anyway, the records were nearly perfect. Graded A, A+, A+, and A with a Parks Audio Puffin Phono DSP. Sounded great too.

This is the Blur I love. Was never keen on the Knees Up Mother Brown stuff, but this grabbed me on first play. A heady concoction of post punk, Bowie and Blur’s own brand of wonky pop. As far as CDs go this is compressed but not destroyed. I can happily listen to this through headphones which is usually a good sign.
The bonus disk is full of goodies. Most of the B sides are here. I think its just the tracks recorded at John Peel’s house that are absent. Swallows In The Heatwave should have been on the actual album, I think.
You also get four square postcards which are a waste of paper. Do people do anything with these beyond look at them once or twice? The booklet is ok. Nothing earth shattering.
Still, nice little box. Great 90s album. Full marks. -
This is a garbage pressing. First copy of mine had a audible click noise because of white debris build-up stuck in the grooves on A2 and A3 that wouldn't come out after a wet clean so I returned it. Just a got a new copy and the same issue is now prevalent but on A3 and A4. Both of my copies had audible clicks on Song 2 from very tiny scratches to the record. The newer copy I got just now is worse than the first one because it has mild surface noise and the record is warped. I just wish record companies would stop putting records in cardboard paper inners because this is what happens as a result. I will be returning this copy now and not buying another one. Shame, the sound was really good. This deserved better.

This pressing sounds amazing! I honestly felt like Damon was in the room on a few tracks (especially Beetlebum) and Grahams guitar parts piercing through the stellar mix. So happy to have this album in my collection finally.

Why make 2xLP at all, when it's could perfectly fit on 1 LP ?
