Notes
Flowers is the second compilation album by the British rock band The Rolling Stones,
recorded 3 December 1965 – 13 December 1966 and released in June 1967.
The group recorded the songs at various studios dating back to 1965. Three of the songs had never been released: "My Girl", "Ride On, Baby" and "Sittin' on a Fence", the first of which was recorded in May 1965 during the sessions for "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," and the other two of which were recorded in December 1965 during the first lot of Aftermath sessions. The rest of the album tracks either appeared as singles or had been omitted from the American versions of Aftermath and Between the Buttons.

Anyone else have a double side one label? Just picked up a copy and was thrown off when I saw it had the same label twice lol
-
This is one of the better sounding releases I've purchased, very quiet and dynamic. They did a really nice job with this pressing.

1967 mono pressing in very good condition, with a pleasingly punchy and robust soundstage. Bass seems more prominent in some of these mono mixes, most noticeably on "Mother's Little Helper". My copy plays nice and clean, side two has light surface noise at times. -

I have London mono LL 3509. Why is this selling for so much? Is it because it’s mono? Just asking. My vinyl is almost perfect but the young man who owned it wrote his name on back cover. So hello to you Jerry for taking care of this vinyl!! -
Lots of variation in the recording levels from song to song. Some songs lean to the treble side, like B3 Mother's Little Helper. Others to the bass like B5 Ride On, Baby.

I am extremely impressed with the sound quality: everything is very clear and dynamic. In contrast to some other ABKCO re-issues of 2023, this one is absolutely recommended!

Cool collection of songs axed from American Rolling Stones albums back from the 60s. Stereo imaging is also kinda jagged but that's the 60s. -

Typical 1960's Rolling Stones in stereo, strange yet fascinating at the same time. Sound quality varies wildly from song-to-song BUT it has to be said that the sonic holography on some of these mixes is off-the-charts, with a soundstage so 3-dimensional it's amazing. And the bass is pretty good too. Vinyl is whisper quiet on my copy as well.
