Van Halen – 5150

My copy sounds amazing on my setup. I always thoroughly clean prior to play. Makes a large difference. Would not hesitate to by this pressing if find good copy.

Bought from an old friend...his dad got it as a qiveaway from a radio station back in the day. Sounds like a proper first pressing of a Van Halen record. Flat, clear, and dynamic.

Purchased The Collection II LP Boxset for Balance & F.U.C.K.. It's a nice reissue. This OP & OU812 are noticeably superior than those included in the boxset.. Sleeve artwork doesn't compare to OP's either. Also, Bernie Grundman's Rhino F.U.C.K. 12-July 2024 remastered release cooks! Do yourself a favor & pick one up. Currently still available (March 2025) at Amazon discounted 55% for $45.

Best Hagar era Van Halen has to offer. Loud and strong sound, not a single song worth skipping here.

What makes it new cover artwork? Seems like it might be a bit of a darker pressing but that's the only difference I can tell...

I think this is my favorite Van Halen album. Back to back, not a single bad song.

Need more info on this. It has the same UPC as the original vinyl. Is it new old stock? Is it the 2023 remastered version?

Just acquired a really nice copy of this. The mix is very crisp and clear. It does feel a little more top heavy. I feel it could use a little more in the low end to really thump. That said, it does sound really good... and gets loud fast.

Great pressing, sounds fantastic. Great separation of instruments and vocals with just the right amount of low end.

Here we have an excelent album by Van Halen with Sammy Hagar on vocals and sounds beautifuly 80's. This German pressing sounds fresh, transparent, airy and crispy.
