is there an easy to spot distinguishable difference between the 1990 reissue and the 2008 reissue? all I'm seeing is maybe that little squiggly mark on the matrix but I can't tell if it's on the older one -
Edited 4 years agoToday I saw a minty copy of this in opened shrink with a 1986 SW price sticker that came with a "Guns Or Records? SST Survival Catalogue" that featured later releases (had catalog #s up to SST 061) . Possibly repress? Or maybe a repress was made a bit later with the same light labels...
https://punkygibbon.co.uk/images/m/meatpuppets/out_12_us_insert1.jpg this one. it appears to be packed with a lot of 1986 releases (as the date on the price tag on the shrink suggested) -

Terrible album. Crappy and overall pointless spoken word with sloppy "jazz" instrumentation that is half-baked and hardly tolerable. Yet another case of bands trying to be experimental and just copying a formula poorly. (See: Yeezus) -

A part spoken word album of Henry Rollins small stories and poems/ Part Jazz improve style hardcore album. Not the easiest listen for the casual Black Flag fan. -

Intense and confrontational, Family Man finds Black Flag hitting a creative stride. The instrumental & spoken word material isn't for everyone, but if you enjoy reveling in some self hatred, you'll love this. I know I do! -
