Acen – Trip II The Moon (Kaleidoscopiklimax)

To think on Kiss Fm in London back in 1992 you could hear stuff like this dropped in the middle of the day - people forget how good and still like a pirate Kiss FM was from legalisation in 1990 till the mid 90s.

Mine is in a generic black sleeve with holes on both sides. Otherwise the same as this.

Sometimes I think we get obsessed with B-Sides more than due because it is s underground & we lve to be special / have a different opinion. But all I can say HERE that "Obsessed 2" has been getting my love even mmore frequently than the A-Side. A dark classic for me, and it has a lot to do with the fact that unlike many hardcore tunes, this one is just - unique. Sounding differnt, deep, ..

There was once I had about 5 labelled copies of this and this white label. The labelled copies, albeit in great shape lacked the clarity and high end and had a feint bg noise and even in my stoned state the difference was very clear, so if you are a fan of this tune, then I suggest you try to pick up this white.

Personally this version in my favourite. The production level is so good . It's not as hard as the others . But depends on your preference

The best out of the series imo and one of my all time favourite hardcore tracks. The mix of energy and drama is euphoric and the production is excellent!

Obsessed II (Pictures of Silence) is one of the best tunes of its genre, very complex and well thought out; whereas Trip II The Moon (Kaleidoskopiklimax) embodies all that was great about the trio, fast, driving beats and plenty of euphoria!
