This original 1997 pressing sounds much, much better to my ears than the new remaster that's widely available. There's way more space in the recording and lots of separation. Drums kick. Everything is just clearer. -
Pressing has noise even after deep scrub and vpi then ultrasonic clean. It’s what Amazon ships. Looked to be the usa 2015 on line but wasn’t. Beware returned -

Holy shit! I when these came out and were only going for $20! I should've bought one for a friend, these prices are nuts! Matador should repress this. Can confirm, fantastic pressing and I played the HELL outta this set when it first came out. Also, always been a cool B-side, but does anyone know why Harness Your Hopes is suddenly such a huge hit? Just curious! -

I just played this again last night for the first time in awhile. Man it sounds so good. Quiet vinyl and supreme mastering. Such an epic album!! -
Anyone else have scratched out characters in the deadwax between OLE-197-1 A/B & RJ on Both sides. Other than that mine matches this version (XXXXXX is where the scratched out characters are):

Let's be very clear on this: Most Reissues/Box-Sets are pointless. THIS ONE however carries some of the finest b-sides, outtakes, covers and rarities not only by Pavement but across the entire indie-genre. 13 out of 10 points! -
