Martin Denny – Quiet Village - The Exotic Sounds Of Martin Denny

Brian Eno said this was one of the big influences for Another Green World. Music you could put on as background or foreground for whatever you had going on. It still functions as that. I put it on when friends come over for dinner and drinks. I'm asked to take it off. The 1990s are dead.

This is a great LP! Exotic Sounds is Right! It's hard not to find yourself grooving to any of the songs. Side 2 is full of Brain Worms, but it a good way. You know, those little things that stick in your head. Anyway, I have to go fined more of his stuff now......

Does anyone know the provenance of this version? Curious whether it was mastered from digital, or analog, or any other info.

this well from my childhood. My parents owned the album.

An absolute must-own.

Lots of fun, this is a repeatedly cited cornerstone album for any exotica collector.

It has come to my attention that some s post gratuitous reviews merely to accumulate rank points, and I take exception to that.

Anyway this record is rather good.
