Cheap? Check. Flat? Check. Dynamics? Check. Color? On point. Everything about this reissue is great, very barebones but it’s exactly what you’re looking for with this record.

First rate reissue. Can’t fault it. Flat, quiet, and dynamic.

I don't understand why "Tongues" (and "Ones & Zeroes") wasn't included on any of the vinyls. I get that they were recorded prior to Novelty, but, it was the same lineup and wasn't too early on either. "Tongues" is such an awesome song and its outro seems more like a closer than "Send Down" or "Ones & Zeroes" in my opinion.

Mixed feelings about this release. Starts really well. The sound is way more bass heavy and punchy than CD/digital. On the downside however the inner groove distortion is very pronounced here with audible compression starting as early as in the middle of track 4 on each side. Not very common thing on Dischord or MPO pressed LPs in general. Anyone else had same impressions?

Not a big fan of revised artwork, but the sound of this chunk of clear plastic is superb. A great example of well done (and badly needed in this case) remastering job. A lot better than the original cd, though can't compare to the original lp pressing.

the insert is just one side printed (band photo & band info with credits) ?? so no lyrics printed on the other side??, I just got a copy and doesn't have lyrics.
