Solid reissue. CD copy was a nice touch. Give Halloween II a spin at 45RPM and thank me later. -
Hits the sweet spot between cheesy and awesome. A bunch of really funky Synthdisco covers, that turn Carpenter's (and in one case Morricone's) classic themes into 80s disco dancefloor bangers! And somehow they don't feel like a desecration of the master's work. They are all a bit more faster, upbeat and four to the floor, but keep the dark synth vibe of the originals. I really recommend that album, even if it's mostly for the novelty factor. -
This is a fantastic album that any John Carpenter fan should own. It’s not a JC compilation as I originally thought. These are recreations of John Carpenter scores from The Splash Band. Revamped tracks with a slightly different approach but all TASTEFULLY done! A very enjoyable record and some lesser known tracks that are really great too. Sound quality could use more punch but still good. Five stars across board! -

Don't buy this one if you care to hear the original movie theme's. -
