Cannibal Corpse – Kill

Hi, does anybody know what a "burgopak" is? I never heard that term before.

Can confirm the previous review, sounds awesome. Not a single flaw here.

Awesome pressing! The quality fits with how awesome this album is! No pops and distortion, and the sound quality is great!

Good lord this sounds great. Not sure how you could complain. It’s a modern death metal album recorded mainly for digital releases and then pressed on vinyl. It sounds as good as it can sound on vinyl. It’s a great pressing.

There’s some surface noise expected from a picture disc. Overall quality of image is good and the album sounds great. I’d give it a 5 if it weren’t for the surface noise.

Sounds killer! & comes with a neat spinning saw on the center label on both sides that looks cool while the lp is playing! It comes with a nice poster too!! If you've been waiting to scoop up a decent vinyl copy of kill wait no longer this is what you want. \m/

Meant something at the time, but not anymore

So, the year was 2006 and Metalcore pretty much took over the entire Metal scene. People were seriously thinking, big bands would soon open for bands like KSE, AILD, Trivium etc. at gigs. It was a truly horrible time for Metal.

To make matters worse, a new genre called Deathcore was emerging and getting very popular. Cannibal Corpse had to make the most brutal sounding thing they possibly ever made in order to show fans what veterans and real metalheads can create.

This album made all that other non-music sound like kiddie-metal, but to it's own detriment forfeited all possible melody and anything that could be considered a "hook".

It was an important album for 2006, but looking at it the way it is, it's pretty methodical and average.
