I love KiCk i. The sounds, the things it talks about, and the imagery that comes with it are such a touching experience.
The CD looks really pretty with “KiCk” written in Arca’s calligraphy. The only thing I dislike is the ejector case since it scratches the CD when taking it out or putting it back in. (It hasn’t made the CD unplayable so far though.)

Sounds really good. Perfectly flat, virtually no surface noise (something I was worried about), and sound quality is perfect. Really impressed with these colored pressings!

does anyone know why they stopped selling this version and replaced it with the standard cover black vinyl on the Orche store? :( Need this to complete my Kick collection

Sounds AMAZING!!! I gave it a wet clean before spinning and I’m just blown away. The vocal layering on Bjork’s track especially sounds so great, it’s all mixed really well. The jacket is well made - the typography is a glossy black which is a nice touch. And the vinyl color!!! Such a pretty silver translucent swirl. Looks great with the LED ring I installed under my turntable platter. I love the booklet as well but did anyone notice the artwork of the Ripples lyrics?? I don’t know if other variants include a booklet with the same images, but I thought including Ripples lyrics when it’s not included on this album was odd. Anyways 10/10, the entire Kick series seems to have been pressed really well and with a lot of thought and care.

The output volume is lower than your average record, but I did not hear a single surface noise or distortion or sibilance throughout my listening, excellent work !

I’d be almost afraid to hear any other version (which is fine cuz they’re all out of my price range). This one is absolutely Flawless. A gem to flip through, hold, behold. The album itself is one of my all-time faves now. Grew on me after several listens. Grateful for a friend’s recommendation. E S S E N T I A L

Looking for this dope record but 100€ is just too much
