Nirvana was biting this songs guitar, for Come As You Are -
referencing Eighties (2×7") EGO 16
I believe there was a 12” double pack equivalent with Fire Dances 12” & stickered sleeve. -
Edited 3 years agoThis track was used to great effect by John Hughes in the 1985 classic Weird Science. Lisa organises a party at Wyatt’s house, hundreds of people come and trash the place as this choice song plays, and Gary & Wyatt hide in the bathroom. Then the guy from Mad Max II turns up, and the boys redeem themselves .... Slightly.

one of the best songs of the EIGHTIES :-)
it was used as the opening melody for the VH1 show BIG 80S -
Edited 8 years agoAnyone noticed the Nirvana "Come as you are" baseline? Well, Curt Cobain was supposed to say that he didn't hear this song before creating "Come as you are".
