The music is top notch and covers a range of Sun Ra's stylistic oeuvre (from free to big band swing), but this record also sounds remarkably good as well. One of the best recordings of Sun Ra I've heard in hifi . -

Possibly one of Ra's best releases. Listen to 'Song of the Sparer" or "Spontaneous Simplicity" for Ra and the Arkestra at their most beautiful. Bravo.
