Gorillaz – The Now Now

Great box! Box sets are my favorite Gorillaz items and this one is a great example. The light blue vinyl looks great, and I very much appreciate the durability of the art prints. 2D's journal is one of my favorite box set items from Gorillaz, especially as a fan of the story and characters. The certificate of authenticity is a very nice touch. This box does not include a CD version of the album like other box sets from the band do, though I recall this release having a significantly lower cost on release, so it's understandable. The lenticular cover looks great, though for some reason I feel it doesn't adhere to the actual box, and I worry the edges might start to lift in the future. The lenticular cover kinda feels like a giant sticker in a way. With that being my only complaint, I would consider this a very solid release and box set.

My favorite album for chilling... it may not be as epic and exciting as the first records but it's a great collection of melancholic, funny and relaxing tunes. Side B is a great run from start to finish!
Regarding recording's quality, it's the classic Gorillaz type of mastering: dynamic sound, crunchy bass... All mixed with that dirty vintage sound that in my opinion defines this work.

This album is very chill and toned down, nice whitenoise. Wish it had more songs that stood out like Tranz

not a huge hifi guy yet but i do think this record plays well, along with the demon days picture disc. obviously i’m sure it has its drawbacks sound wise but it does the job for now and it looks beautiful. however i should say i’m 100% getting a regular pressing in the future when i have a better setup. really cool collectors item overall

Whilst the presentation of this album is fantastic, my light blue vinyl is not a good pressing. Distortion on some highs and vocals on tracks like Tranz. Bass is very heavy though.

Sounds pretty good! Not as good as my copies of Demon Days or Plastic Beach, but still very good - plus it was cheap

this copy sounds great! I recommend adding it to the collection. I wish it was gatefold tho

very underrated album in total, with "one percent" to be one very seldom gem
i love this deluxe version, it brings out the whole concept of the cover the best
