referencing All I Ask (Part-Two) (CD, Single) GC120CDX
The second ALL I ASK disc brings Rae & Christian closer to Brazil, particularly with the b-side, "The Bacalau," which proves you can never have too much cowbell. It's a spare and sultry affair. But the "Old English Mix" of the title track brings a slinky, sly groove that lends a sensuousness. Well worth checking out! -
referencing All I Ask (CD, Maxi-Single) GC 120 CDS
Rae & Christian's ALL I ASK can pretty much stand on its own in any circumstance, but DJ Spinna puts a slightly moodier spin on his take, with additional horns for good measure. But with the b-side, "Premonition," they venture further afield, diving headlong into whirling jazz, buoyed by tribal-inspired breaks. Who could ask for more?
