Classic song. However, pretty awful pressing/recording. There’s a very noticeable hum during the first few minutes of the song; definitely not coming from my system and is definitely the recording/pressing. -
Those drums though! What a funky song surprisingly a Brunswick Records production given they were not hot in the 80s -
Daft Punk ed here, Da Funk is the best tribute of this amazing og track!!! -

Edited 9 years agoStone cold- classic. Cut to bits by many a seasoned DJ, from Hip Hop to Funk, Soul & Disco-Breaks, this is up there with the best of em'. That bubbling synth bassline hints at the sounds emerging & soon to dominate the 80's, a real cross over point in time. Drums later sampled by Daft Punk on 'Da Funk'. A rock solid good time dance floor classic from pioneer producer Vaughn Mason (Raze). -
