Beautiful sounding pressing! The mastering is dynamic and vibrant, especially the drums sound natural and punchy, with a real analogue feel to it. The heavy parts feel powerful, while the softer parts (which this album also has a lot of course) have atmosphere and sparkle.

The pressing quality is also very good, clean and really quiet. The only issue my copy has is a slight inner groove distortion, for example noticable during the short acapella break towards the end of Reach Down. But I can absolutely live with that as this pressing is so satisfying otherwise.

One of my favourite albums of the grunge era and a perfect example for the diverse influences of the "Seattle sound". Chris Cornell at his creative peak, he wrote the bulk of this album and his vocal performance here is one of his best ever!

This sounds good & dynamic but also way too bright. Something I've encountered multiple times now with MOV releases. Still glad to have this in my collection.

I’m very happy to have this in my collection. Great sound. Great album. And great band despite only having one album. Cornell and Vedder are the two best grunge vocalists in my opinion and two of the best vocalists EVER. RIP Chris.

Noisy groove floor. Mastering sounds pretty good. Balanced mix. Needs to be cranked up as this pressing is not mixed HOT. Worth having if it can be obtained at a reasonable price. EQ capabilties are a nice addition if one has the option. Minus 2 stars for the volume deficiency and jive ass plain paper inner sleeve.

A master class in mastering, recording and presenting a Grunge album. Everything is great about this LP. I especially appreciate the instrument and voice separation as well as the fact that none of the high tones are clipping. Feel free to boost the base a bit on your system. Flawless. Bravo !
