Edited 9 months agoHey, whether or not you dig the disco, it sure does sound good, having been mastered and cut by the inimitable Bob Ludwig. As for me, I love the nightlife. I've got to boogie. 🕺 -

"I Love The Nightlife" was a huge disco smash, and it's really the only song here that's remotely memorable, although "Self Applause" isn't too bad. Most of the songs are perfunctory dance rock. Bridges occasionally tries to channel Ann Wilson of Heart, but too often descends into a screechy vocal style. This pressing is kinda meh, there's not much oomph to the low end and it sounds a bit trebly overall. My copy has the occasional pop but plays nice and clean for the most part. -
High Altitudes is the hidden gem on this album. It starts slow and wispy, then bursts open and finishes with a great guitar solo. A keeper.

Nice album, though you could skip by buying the single.
Second most interesting song is SELF APPLAUSE...but, then that was the single’s B side. Still worth turning the single over
