Notes
In 1960, Presley re-recorded "Blue Suede Shoes" for the soundtrack of the film G.I. Blues. This studio re-recording was one of the few occasions in Presley's career in which he agreed to re-record a previously issued song. He did it on this occasion because the rest of the soundtrack was recorded in stereo, and thus a stereo version of "Blue Suede Shoes" was required. The 1960 version uses virtually the same arrangement as the 1956 recording. This version was included on the soundtrack album to G.I. Blues but was never released as a single in the United States.

This version actually has the Euro exclusive “Tonight’s Alright for Love” as A1. Also, the cover art reproduction is horrid, with poor contrast and slightly off colors.

This is a proud new piece in my Best Buy Series collection, i had no idea a BBS from GIB existed? … other BBS issues on my want list, either Branded, or Stickered, of Chet Atkins or Glenn Miller or Elvis or Jefferson Airplane/Starship or Floyd Cramer or David Bowie or John Denver or Lou Reed or Hot Tuna or Jim Reeves or The Ramones or Henry Mancini or Waylon Jennings or Harry Nilsson or Guess Who ot Aztec Two Step or a bunch other artists on RCA Records … if you see any when you’re digging, would you please buy them, and i will pay you back later:-)

my copy is the 1s Indianapolis pressing, some crackle through out, but the quality of the recording is very good considering the age, you can really hear the separation between Elvis and the background singers, and the musicians. overall happy with it
