Dos or Die Recordings was founded in March 1994 by Andreas Schneider.
Originally a division of Dos Or Die Recordings GmbH
From July 1996 onwards the label went international through a distribution deal with Sony Music Entertainment in . Artists would appear on Dos Or Die / Epic in and on Dance Pool in the rest of the world.
The company went bankrupt in 2003, but the label brand has been revived by the new company Unlimited Sounds.
