Viennola BTG

Profile:

Viennola Bild und Tonträger GesmbH. Austrian vinyl and CD pressing, tape duplication and printing plant. Operating under this name between January 1984 and March 2002. Not to be confused with the traditional Viennola record label which nevertheless was the namesake for this company.

Established in January 1984 after PolyGram terminated their Austrian manufacturing activities and sold the equipment of their Austrian PRS plant to ATG who relocated it to their own plant in Margarethen am Moos.
Vinyl production was sold in 1997, followed by the close down of the tape duplication in 2001. CD duplication was terminated in April 2002 and the plant closed for good in December 2002.
