TIS

"TIS" was founded as "Teldec Import Service" and started in 1975 as the exclusive importer for international RCA and WEA releases not issued in . In the early 1980s it was 's largest import company, importing releases from all over the world.
Eventually, TIS also became a label and distributor. In the late 1990s the company was renamed to "Talent Independent Service," since the TELDEC brand then was only used for classical records.
