Recording and mastering studio in Manhattan, New York founded and owned by Joyce Avery and her husband Julius Elkins in the late 1950s. May also appear printed in credits as Avcolabs (its actual name) or etched in runouts as AVCO. Specialized in cutting stereo lacquers with their variable pitch Scully Lathe using a modified Westrex-c cutting head.
