The Carrier Dome, known as the JMA Wireless Dome (or "JMA Dome") since May 2022, is an American stadium that opened in September 1980, located on the campus of Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. With a listed capacity of 49,000+ visitors, it's the largest enclosed stadium in the northeastern United States and the largest arena of any American college campus. The Dome was initially named after the local manufacturer, Carrier Corporation, which paid the University $2.75 million in 1979 to complete the structure in exchange for naming rights. In May 2020, a mobile phone provider JMA Wireless signed a new 10-year naming rights deal.
