Production company created on December 10, 1974 in Miami, FL and involuntarily dissolved on November 14, 1986. Led by KC & The Sunshine Band).

It operated a recording and mastering studio in Miami, Florida. Engineers: Gary Ham. Lacquer cuts can be identified by a circled "SSE" or "Sunshine Sound Ent. Inc." etched in the runouts.

The company later was resurrected as Sunshine Sound Entertainment, Inc.
