very low quality cd sleeve quality and audio is all over the place, very disappointed.

Just bought a CD from them that came as a dead CD-R. Can't think it's likely that they're pressing any more on demand.

Does anyone know if they've officially issued some statement referencing the end of their work? There are no new releases since 2018, although their website is still active.

New Releases seem to have fallen off the cliff since 2017, nothing new.. sadly also many older titles taken directly of vinyl, some have poor mastering. I have over 40 titles in the series.
