Profile:	German club label Label Code: LC 0565 / LC 00565 Bertelsmann Schallplattenring was founded by Reinhard Mohn on 1 July 1956 as a supplement club label to the Bertelsmann Lesering book sales club. Since most record companies were reluctant to licence their recordings, Bertelsmann set up their own label Sonopress.
