Blapps! Records

Releasing records since 1988 in to the 90's this British label produced Breakbeat, Hip Hop and Dancehall inspired music that was popular in the rave scene. Run by Jason Tunbridge aka Jazzy Jason, Jason Carter and many other aliases he produced under, including Dynamic Guvnors and acts on the sub labels, Pure Bhoomie, Ruff Lick and Funkasaurus. The man behind Mad Doctor X, London Funk All Stars, Cluster Funk and Turntable Symphony. Jason was also the scratch DJ from The Freestylers. His real name only appeared on one record from Blapps! Something that was done on purpose. Other credits include a raft of releases for Ninja Tune. The label details on the vinyl are long since defunct. The label is now managed by Robin Allinson and Musiqware Ltd but still owned by Jason. 2016 will see the reissue of the back catalogue to digital, remastered.
