Not to be confused with the famous Jamaican label of the same name.

U.S.-based label and production company Impact Records was established in 1989 by Pop songwriter team Evan Rogers.

Sturken and Rogers made waves in 1991 as part of the Dance Pop collective, Rythm Syndicate while their company, Impact Records, formed a partnership with MCA Records for about two years before folding completely.
