Independent Masters Ltd

Independent Masters Ltd was an English CD and DVD glass master manufacturer located outside London, established in 1997.

Independent Masters Ltd is not named specifically in the disc matrix, but can be identified by a combination of its sequential matrix number (described below) and mastering SID codes IFPI L055/L056. In addition, some pressing plants that used glass masters from Independent Masters Ltd indicated this with the inclusion of 'I', 'IM', or 'IML' in the matrix.

The matrix number is in the format YMMDDXX, and can be entered in LCCN as the catalogue# for Independent Masters Ltd.
