Recording studio located in the Variety Arts building in New York City, New York (USA), founded in 1961 and closed in 1996.

The holding company Variety Recording Service and fully owned by Vargas, but advertising under the name of the recording studio.

In 1968 the original studio was destroyed by a fire and moved to West 42nd Street. The studio was notable for its recordings by Sun Ra, who was ed in his endeavours by Smith and Vargas.

Engineers known to have worked here: Mike Dacek, Arthur Reilly.
