Multi arena venue in Magstræde in central Copenhagen. Huset was established by the city council in 1969 as a community center. It was given to youth movement groups in 1970 but closed again in 1972 due to it had become a drug abuse location occupied by up to 700 hippies living their daily life here. After a management reorganization it reopened the same year, and since that Huset has been the centre for several venues, and also housing restaurant, café, cinema and theatre. Amongst the venues are:
- Musikcafeen on the third floor, all genres, from 1976 to present.
- Barbue punk venue on the first floor 1984-1994.
- Vognporten on the ground floor, a jazz- and folkscene, 1970 to 1985.
- Klub Tatuba shortlived venue 1973 to 1975 on the top floor.
- Paradise Jazz, Copenhagen a three nights a week jazz club, the only Copenhagen club venue to feature also big band jazz.
